Seasons of the Wind
Book Description
Seasons of the Wind is a collection of poems by Lou Pizzi. This book takes you on a journey through all four seasons, reflecting changing emotions and differing viewpoints on life. Author’s Note In writing this book I started collecting all the poems and songs I had written, and it was only then I saw a pattern emerging. I do not know where these seasons come from – whether we create them ourselves, or if they are indeed brought by the wind. I have travelled all four and am waiting to see what the wind brings next. Reader's Comments "Seasons of the Wind is a magical book of poems that were originally Italian songs. Lou Pizzi is also a painter who sees life's profound meaning and easily expresses his appreciation. I really enjoyed this book of poems as it is filled with rare beauty. There are many memorable moments and some poems are like stories. Lou Pizzi also seems to have a deep connection with the sea and I especially enjoyed those poems that described nature. Some of the poems are filled with captivating and powerful images. This book is truly a journey through a poet's world. I also loved the more intimate and romantic poems that seemed to speak of two souls meant to be together for eternity. My favorite poem was "The Velvet Part of the Moon" which is very mysterious. I read a lot of poetry and this is a book I will keep to read again. Many poetry books are just enjoyed in the moment but this book is one that will haunt you." ~The Rebecca Review
